Impossible Dreams, Big Goals

When I was little, I wanted to visit all the places I read about in books. London. New York. Switzerland. Middle Earth. Hogwarts. There was this constant longing to see all the places my favorite characters saw. All the adventures they had were shaped by their surroundings. Soon my dream grew larger and larger as I got older and older. I wanted to call the whole world my home. I wanted to explore every hill and river and shop and city and meet every person.

Little did I know that the world is a very, very large place.

But I soon found out.

I’m a little more practical now. A little. Not really. My goal now is to see as much of the world as possible and immerse myself in the various cultures. A little more achievable? Yes. But not a whole lot.

Now my goal is a little more vague. I don’t have a set destination, I just go. Whenever. Wherever.

And the wonderful thing is that I get to share my journey with you. I finally decided to start a travel blog. Wow! It took me a while! What was I even blogging about all those other years? I don’t even know now. But now I have this amazing opportunity to share my adventures with you through my writing and my (improving) photography. I don’t think I can do the world justice, but I’ll try to do my best.

Happy Travels,

Anshula

Hey Nika. Thanks for the lovely comment! I didn’t know there were other people out there longing for adventure based on books either until I started this blog and realized how many vagabond book lovers there were. I hope 2016 brings you many book-based adventures! Have a lovely day!
